| Bancha Tea is a wonderful Japanese green tea. Kukicha and Bancha tea are essentially the same tea. Kukicha tea is primarily the stem and Bancha tea is essentially the leaf. Japanese Bancha tea is the grade of Sencha from an early summer harvest of the Japanese green tea leaves with no stem. Sencha is the most popular type of Japanese Green Tea today. This Japanese green tea has a subtle, pleasant mixture of honey with a fresh scent. The coloration is light green.

Gyokuro means pearl dew is the finest Japanese tea. Our Gyokuro comes from the most tender buds during in the early spring flush. Two to three weeks before harvesting, the tea bushes are shaded from the sun. The result is a gentle tea with an intoxicating fragrance and truly sublime taste.
